Announced: March 17, 1999.

Location: Priorvej 12, DK - 2300 Frederiksberg, Denmark; near the historic section of "Old Copenhagen."

Presidency: Dee Valentine Jacobs, president; Verner Olsen, first counselor; Hans Ljungh, second counselor.

Site: Less than one acre.

Exterior finish: Original brick and columns of meetinghouse dedicated in 1931.

Temple design: Neo-classical style of original meetinghouse.

Architects and contractors: Arcito.

Project manager: Carl Champagnie.

Number of rooms: Celestial room, two endowment rooms, two sealing rooms and baptistry with font resting on 12 fiberglass oxen.

Total floor area: Approximately 25,000 square feet.

Dimensions: 45 feet by 120 feet.

District: Aarhus Denmark, Copenhagen Denmark, Gteborg Sweden and Malm Sweden stakes, and Iceland District.

Pertinent facts: Announced by letter from the First Presidency to local priesthood leaders. Site was dedicated April 24, 1999, by Elder Spencer J. Condie of the Seventy and president of the Europe North Area. Open house was April 29-May 15, 2004. Open House attendance: 25,512. Dedicated in four sessions on May 23, 2004, by President Gordon B. Hinckley. Dedication attendance: 3,419.
