Family: Born May 25, 1944, to J. Harris and Beth Russell Walker; raised in Raymond, Alberta, Canada; married Vicki Colleen Van Wagenen in 1968 in the Salt Lake Temple; five children; Wendy Avila, Gregory, Colleen Riggs, Mark, Paul; 11 grandchildren.

Church Service: Mission president, stake president, bishop (twice), bishop's counselor, high councilor, high priests group leader, elders quorum president.

Education: Bachelor of arts degree in international relations from Brigham Young University.

Employment: Has held a number of executive positions in investment banking and other business fields.
