Whether or not to gather to watch the Christmas devotional in meetinghouses will be left to the discretion of local leaders. A live stream of the devotional will be available at:

Various other stations and internet sites throughout the world will also carry the devotional. Those interested can check local program listings for availability in their area. See the broadcast schedule in the Nov. 2 letter for more details.

How to attend

Due to ongoing construction on and around Temple Square, in-person attendance at the Conference Center will be limited.

Ticket requests will be available beginning Tuesday, Nov. 7, at 10 a.m. MST. Requests will be capped at six tickets.

Video and audio recordings of the devotional will be archived for on-demand viewing on Gospel Library and Gospel Media. Video and audio recordings in most languages, as well as text in English, Spanish and Portuguese will be available in about a week.

Last year’s Christmas devotional

Last year’s Christmas devotional included messages by President Dallin H. Oaks of the First Presidency, Elder Neil L. Andersen of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, Elder José A. Teixeira of the Presidency of the Seventy and then-Young Women General President Bonnie H. Cordon

The 2022 devotional was broadcast live from the Conference Center in Salt Lake City with an audience of about 9,800 people. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2020 devotional was held in a smaller venue — the Conference Center Theater — and closed to the public. The 2021 devotional had a limited audience of 4,000 family members and invited guests.

Latter-day Saints, their families, and friends are invited to participate in conversations on social media using the #ChristmasDevo.
