They will begin their service in July

The following new mission presidents and companions have been called to serve by the First Presidency. They will begin their service in July.

Humberto Barbosa, 61, and Kilma Barbosa, four children, Morada do Sol Ward, Itu Brazil Stake: Brazil Vitória Mission, succeeding President Robert W. Turner and Sister Merri Ellen Turner. Brother and Sister Barbosa are former senior missionaries in the Brazil São Paulo West Mission. He is an area executive secretary and former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, bishop, bishopric counselor, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Brazil Porto Alegre Mission. He was born in Ferreiros, Brazil, to Manoel Barbosa da Silva and Tereza Maria Barbosa da Silva.

Sister Barbosa is a former stake Primary president, ward Young Women president, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Young Women presidency counselor and ward temple and family history consultant. She was born in Recife, Brazil, to José Leonardo de Lima and Nativa Edvirgens de Lima.

Ben Beeson, 49, and Julynn Beeson, two children, Cascade 3rd Ward, Orem Utah Cascade Stake: Ghana Accra Mission, succeeding President Bert B. Young and Sister Jennefer Young. Brother Beeson is a temple ordinance worker and former stake president, high councilor, stake mission presidency counselor, bishop, YSA bishopric counselor, stake institute teacher and missionary in the Florida Tampa Mission. He was born in Provo, Utah, to John Richard Beeson and Gaylene Gunn Beeson.

Sister Beeson is a ward Young Women presidency counselor and temple ordinance worker and former stake institute teacher, ward Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Young Women secretary, Relief Society teacher, Sunday School teacher, nursery leader and missionary in the Hawaii Honolulu Mission. She was born in Provo, Utah, to Nelson Arley Barksdale Jr. and Stefani Piper Barksdale.

Paul A. Clark, 61, and Kristi T. Clark, five children, Alamo Ward, Danville California Stake: New Zealand Wellington Mission, succeeding President David Thomson and Sister Sue Thomson. Brother Clark is a stake president and former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, bishop, bishopric counselor, ward Young Men president and missionary in the Belgium Brussels Mission. He was born in Salt Lake City to Samuel Wayne Clark Sr. and Ruby Maughan Clark.

Sister Clark is a Relief Society teacher and former stake Young Women presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, ward Primary president and temple ordinance worker. She was born in Salt Lake City to Craig F. Thomsen and Connie Fagg Thomsen.

Phillip N. Foster, 62, and Gretchen L. Foster, three children, Belton Ward, Waco Texas Stake: Guatemala Guatemala City Mission, succeeding President William B. Woahn and Sister Heidi W. Woahn. Brother Foster is a former stake presidency counselor, high councilor, stake Young Men president, bishopric counselor, elders quorum president, ward Young Men president, ward mission leader, high priests group leader assistant and missionary in the Argentina Bahía Blanca Mission. He was born in Temple, Texas, to Billie Neal Foster and Glenda Jo Wigginton.

Sister Foster is a former stake Relief Society president, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, Gospel Essentials teacher, Primary teacher, seminary teacher and ward missionary. She was born in Salt Lake City to George Rodney Stanger and Zelpha Helen Hardman.

Geoffrey R. Fowler, 47, and Roseanna C. Fowler, five children, Oakley 1st Ward, Antioch California Stake: the new România Bucharest Mission. Brother Fowler is a stake presidency counselor and former high councilor, bishop, bishopric counselor, scoutmaster and missionary in the România Bucharest Mission. He was born in Seattle, Washington, to Dennis Lee Fowler and Kathryn Ann Fowler.

Sister Fowler is a ward Primary presidency counselor and temple ordinance worker and former ward Primary president, ward Young Women presidency counselor, Young Women adviser, Primary pianist, Activity Days leader and seminary teacher. She was born in Harbor City, California, to William Robert Croasdale Sr. and Woglinde Christine Croasdale.

Andre França, 54, and Carla França, three children, Cobilândia Ward, Vila Velha Brazil Stake: Brazil Manaus Mission, succeeding President Eber Beck and Sister Eliane W. Beck. Brother França is a bishop and institute teacher and former mission presidency counselor, stake president, stake presidency counselor, ward Young Men president, ward Sunday School president and missionary in the Brazil São Paulo North Mission. He was born in Recife, Brazil, to Nelson Luiz de França and Alice Alves de França.

Sister França is a Gospel Doctrine teacher and seminary teacher and former ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, ward Young Women presidency counselor, Relief Society teacher, Sunday School teacher, institute teacher and temple and family history consultant. She was born in Pernambuco, Brazil, to Fausto Medeiros and Cleide Nunes Medeiros.

Jeff Gochnour, 63, and Jeni Gochnour, five children, Holladay 18th Ward, Salt Lake Holladay South Stake: Minnesota Minneapolis Mission, succeeding President Matthew O. Richardson and Sister Lisa J. Richardson. Brother Gochnour is a Sunday School teacher and former stake presidency counselor, stake Young Men president, bishop, bishopric counselor, Young Men adviser, Primary teacher and missionary in the Indonesia Jakarta Mission. He was born in Salt Lake City to Ralph Lowell Gochnour and Rosetta Elizabeth Smith Gochnour.

Sister Gochnour is a YSA Relief Society adviser and former stake Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, ward Young Women presidency counselor, ward Primary presidency counselor, Sunday School teacher, nursery leader and Primary music leader. She was born in Salt Lake City to Ralph David Brinton and Evyonna Wiltshire Brinton.

Glenn M. Holmes, 62, and Amanda M. Holmes, four children, Rynfield Ward, Benoni South Africa Stake: South Africa Pretoria Mission. Brother Holmes is an Area Seventy and former stake president, stake presidency counselor, high councilor, stake mission presidency counselor, bishop, branch president, elders quorum president, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the England Manchester Mission. He was born in Benoni, South Africa, to Arthur James Holmes and Irene Steffen.

Sister Holmes is a stake music chair and institute teacher and former stake Relief Society presidency counselor, ward Relief Society president, ward Young Women president, ward Primary president, Relief Society teacher, Sunday School teacher, ward music director, Relief Society chorister, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the England Leeds Mission. She was born in Durban, South Africa, to Kaare Asgeir-Nielsen and Annella Margaret Jacobsen.

J. Gregory Lake, 61, and Lisa Saunders Lake, four children, Constellation Ward, Gilbert Arizona Highland West Stake: Sweden Stockholm Mission, succeeding President Robert L. Davis and Sister Tiffany L. Davis. Brother and Sister Lake are former senior missionaries in the Sweden Stockholm Mission. He is a former bishop, YSA bishop, bishopric counselor, high councilor, ward Young Men president, ward mission leader, Sunday School teacher, institute teacher, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Sweden Stockholm Mission. He was born in Salt Lake City to Jack Smith Lake and Marie Barlow Lake.

She was born in Logan, Utah, to Reed W Saunders and Barbara Cook Saunders.

Raúl Oyarzabal, 44, and Roxana Oyarzabal, three children, Universidad Ward, Chihuahua México Tecnológico Stake: México Puebla South Mission, succeeding President Cary M. Jensen and Sister Suzy W. Jensen. Brother Oyarzabal is a stake president and former high councilor, stake executive secretary, bishop, elders quorum president, ward mission leader and missionary in the México Tuxtla Gutiérrez Mission. He was born in Parral, Mexico, to Ernesto Oyarzabal Barrios and Xochitl de Oyarzabal Aragon.

Sister Oyarzabal is a Sunday School teacher and institute teacher and former stake Primary president, stake Primary presidency counselor, ward Young Women president, Primary teacher, ward chorister and Primary music leader. She was born in Chihuahua, Mexico, to Rafael Hernandez Duran and Mirna Patricia de Hernandez Gallardo.

E. Mark Quinn, 63, and Elaine H. Quinn, five children, Naperville 1st Ward, Naperville Illinois Stake: California Santa Rosa Mission, succeeding President Lex L. Puffer and Sister Sharon Puffer. Brother Quinn is a temple sealer and patriarch and former high councilor, bishop, bishopric counselor, Young Men adviser, scoutmaster, temple ordinance worker and missionary in the Bolivia Santa Cruz Mission. He was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, to Edward Barney Quinn and Joan Quinn.

Sister Quinn is a patriarch scribe, ward Relief Society president and temple ordinance worker and former ward Young Women presidency counselor, ward Primary presidency counselor, ward Primary secretary, ward Young Women camp director, Relief Society teacher, Gospel Doctrine teacher, Primary teacher and nursery leader. She was born in Salt Lake City to Hendricus Johannes Martinus Hoole Jr. and Daryl V Hoole.

Euvel Rodríguez, 49, and Neidy Rodríguez, two children, Moromoy Ward, Barinas Venezuela Stake: Venezuela Maracaibo Mission, succeeding President Hernan Peña and Sister Arianna Peña. Luis Daniel Santana, 43, and Diana Carolina Santana, three children, Los Tres Brazos Ward, Santo Domingo Dominican Republic Ozama Stake: Perú Lima East Mission, succeeding President David W. Duce and Sister Janelle N. Duce. Brother Santana is a bishop and temple ordinance worker and former mission presidency counselor, district president, stake presidency counselor, high councilor, stake Young Men president, district Young Men president, branch president, ward assistant clerk, elders quorum president, institute teacher, seminary teacher and missionary in the Dominican Republic Santiago Mission. Scott D. Sommerfeldt, 64, and Lisa B. Sommerfeldt, five children, Mapleton 3rd Ward, Mapleton Utah Stake: Missouri Independence Mission, succeeding President Lynn J Ames and Sister Rebecca Bennett Ames.
