At the end of the 2021 football season, Latter-day Saint football coach Bronco Mendenhall resigned his position of head coach at the University of Virginia.
“I was asked one time, ‘Who are you without your job, without your title, without your money?’” said Mendenhall in this Church News video, titled “Child of God.”
Joined by his wife, Holly Mendenhall, he details his desire to have his coaching team work less and focus on their values.
“And so every conversation with our kids, every conversation, every decision we make, is based on our testimony and our beliefs.”
